MAYlers for Hope
FailSafe for Life™ is hosting the first annual MAYlers for Hope event! May is Mental Health Awareness month and we want to take that opportunity not only to raise awareness about the importance of mental health but to offer an opportunity for connection in our community as well.
How this works:
1) You can either buy or create a card and write a message of hope. If you aren't sure what to write, that's ok! You can sign your name and we will fill in the rest. We will post some examples over the next week for inspiration of what to write. Personal stories and tips are encouraged but we do advise to limit the amount of personal information to just your first name.
2) Mail your letter to FailSafe for Life PO Box 28955 Spokane, WA 99228 by the end of May.
3) The first week of June, FailSafe forLife will hand deliver the cards to Providence Sacred Heart and Inland Northwest Behavioral Health for them to pass out to their patients getting mental health care.
*IMPORTANT* We ask that you do not put any personal information on the cards including your last name. We also ask that your message does not affiliate with a religion. While we love the idea of personalization, we do not control who gets which card and the person who receives it may not be affiliated with the same religious preferences.

FailSafe for Life's mission is to end suicide in our community, but we can't do it alone. We will have many opportunities and events that will require the support of caring volunteers who want a difference. Not everyone has the ability to devote time for service work, but anyone can make a difference. One of the easiest and most effective ways to support FailSafe for Life's mission is to donate. You support will go directly to providing the training and services essential for suicide prevention in the Spokane area. If you have a heart for giving, and understand the devastating effects suicide has on family, friends, and our community as whole - not to mention the profound loss of a human life - donate today. Every penny counts.
